DIAGNOSTICS ALERT - VIRASCAN CLINICAL TESTS
Beginning in March 2009 Atherton will begin conducting clinical trials of the new non-invasive HIV diagnostic device called ViraScan. Able to selectively detect the
virus in approximately 25 seconds completely non invasively, it is
expected this new technology will alter the way viral infections are
identified and allow developing nations lacking the appropriate
laboratory infrastructure, to offer screening capabilities similar
to the most advanced methods currently in use. The trials will be

DEVICE
In
2008, Atherton launched Stay Safe Technologies, a company designed to meet the mass consumer
market need for rapid non-invasive diagnostic testing for major
sexually transmitted diseases including HIV-1, Chlamydia and
Gonorrhea. This handheld, pocket-sized device, designed to
provide an early warning to users about the possibility of an
infection with the pathogens that cause these diseases, will begin

FOUNTAIN HEALTHY AGING - ATHERTON'S
FIRST PUBLIC COMPANY IS LAUNCHED
Following the
success with the launch of our Quality of Life campaign through
Atherton's pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmeceutical efforts,
Atherton launched its first publicly traded company called Fountain
Healthy Aging in October 2008. Fountain Healthy Aging caters
to the need of a significant segment of population that is seeking
ways to combat the aging process.

clinics and alliances with independent clinics and
hospitals that are making use of its clinical
application-oriented technology.
Biostem Technologies
takes advantage of Atherton's existing extensive experience in stem
cell technology through its Ukraine-based Institute for Life
Science. While the Institute for Life Science has built
its clinical protocols around embryonic and fetal stem cells,
Biostem Technologies has leveraged our existing expertise in
that arena to for clinical applications using adult stem cells - a
